Delete your Weirlog account

Email nick.hochstedler@hossautomation.com from the address on the account, with the subject Weirlog account deletion request. We acknowledge within five business days and complete what we can within thirty days. The same address closes an entire organization’s account, which the in-app control does not do — it closes your own sign-in.

Your sign-in is closed permanently and you are signed out of every device. Your phone number, your operator certification records and any pending invitation to you are deleted. If nothing on the compliance record names you — a new account that has not recorded anything — the account itself and its sign-in are deleted outright, permanently, and the address stops working.

If you have recorded environmental monitoring data, your name stays attached to it. 40 CFR 122.41(j)(2) requires the records of monitoring information to name the individual who performed the sampling or measurement and the individual who performed the analyses, and requires those records to be retained for at least three years — and your organization’s own retention schedule is often longer. In that case the sign-in is closed and banned and everything not legally required is deleted, but the name and the entries it belongs to remain.
